Supplemental Plans: Accident, Hospital and Critical Illness Insurance
Accident Insurance

Accident Insurance pays you benefits for specific injuries and events resulting from a covered accident. The amount paid depends on the type of injury and care received. Accident Insurance is a limited benefit policy. It’s not health insurance and does not satisfy the requirement of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
Accident Insurance is available to you, your spouse (under age 70), and children up to age 26. You may qualify to receive benefits for accident hospital care, follow-up care, common injuries, and emergency care, as long as they result from a covered accident.
Hospital Indemnity

Hospital Indemnity Insurance doesn’t replace your medical coverage; instead, it complements it. The benefit payments don’t go out to pay for medical bills or treatments you may need, instead they come in—directly to you—to be used however you’d like.
Enroll in hospital indemnity insurance to receive a fixed daily benefit payment when you have a covered stay in a hospital, which you can use as you determine.
Critical Illness
Critical Illness Insurance pays a lump-sum benefit if you are diagnosed with a covered illness or condition on or after your coverage effective date. Critical Illness Insurance doesn’t replace your medical coverage.
The benefit payments don’t go out to pay for medical bills or treatments you may need; instead, they come in—directly to you—to be used however you’d like. Choose this supplemental health insurance product to help lessen the financial impact of a covered illness.
