Supplemental Plans

BrightSpring offers a variety of supplement benefits and coverage options to support all areas of your life. For plan information, certificates of coverage, flyers and details visit the BrightSpring/Voya portal. These plans are coverages you purchase in addition to your primary health plan to pay for care that’s not covered by the health plan.

Accident Insurance

Accident Insurance pays you benefits for specific events resulting from a covered accident that occurs on or after the effective date of coverage. The amount paid depends on the type of accident and care received. Accident Insurance is a limited benefit policy. This is not health insurance and does not satisfy the requirement of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

    • No medical questions or tests are required
    • Benefit payments go directly to you.

Critical Illness

Critical Illness Insurance pays a lump sum benefit if you are diagnosed with a covered illness or condition on or after your coverage effective date. Critical Illness Insurance is a limited benefit policy. This is not health insurance and does not satisfy the requirement of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

  • Plan Highlights:
    • Employees get an annual Wellness Benefit of $100 for completing an eligible health screening
    • Benefit payments go directly to you

Hospital Indemnity

Hospital Indemnity Insurance pays a daily benefit if you have a covered stay in a hospital, critical care unit or rehabilitation facility, on or after your coverage effective date. The benefit amount is determined based on the type of facility and the number of days you stay. This is a limited benefit policy. Hospital Indemnity Insurance is not health insurance and does not satisfy the requirement of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
